HANDY ENGINE TOOL KIT SET: General purpose set of hand tools for those quick or small emergency vehicle DIY repair and maintenance tasks, or even for the weekend motor tinkerer! From tightening sockets to spot measurements of tyre pressures there's a tool to keep your vehicle on the move. All neatly stored in a sturdy HDPE thermoplastic case, compact enough to be stowed away in the boot or storage cabin
METRIC & IMPERIAL/SAE SIZED SOCKETS: A 2-in-1 (1/4") Drive Socket handle and socket adaptor (1/4" to 3/8") are supplied for tightening and loosening sockets. Imperial/SAE sized sockets: 3/16, 9/32, 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 15/32, and 1/2"; Metric sized sockets: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13mm. Also included are two larger sized sockets for removing spark plugs of sizes 16mm and 13/16"
SCREWS, FASTENERS, NUTS & BOLTS: 16 types of driver insert bits are supplied covering the most commonly found screwdriver and fastener types found in vehicles: Slotted/Flat, Pozi, Torx, Phillips and Hex. Used with the 2 in 1 Socket and Bit Driver handle, with its 125mm/5" shaft to reach into recesses, the driver bits can be quickly changed out. And for tightening and loosening all nuts and bolts, a forged-carbon steel chrome-plated adjustable wrench, it's jaws opening up-to 15cm/6", is included
MEASURING TOOLS: The digital tyre pressure gauge with night display and illuminated nozzle gives spot measurements of tire pressures in four selectable units which is important for a smooth ride and fuel economy. The voltage tester probe (12 - 24V) is used to indicate engine battery output or current leakages when its built-in bulb lights up when enough current flows through it. The spark plug gap tool measures the gap between the plug's electrodes which may have to tweaked for used plugs
REPAIR & MAINTENANCE: The needle nose wire grip pliers with built in cutter and 20 wire ties/wraps are used for any wiring work. A small brass wire brush removes dirt, grime and rust around nuts and bolts. An extending magnetic pickup tool (upto 68cm/27") for grabbing and retrieving nuts, bolts and screws when they drop or roll into difficult to reach places, as in under the car!
